We often talk of the attributes, faith, hope and charity. Of these three, perhaps “hope” is the least focused on, however, in these days of challenge and difficulty, hope may be just what we need.

Change is an inevitable part of life, often bringing both challenges and opportunities.

Recently I have been pondering the principle of enduring to the end. To endure to the end means to remain true to the commandments of God despite temptation, opposition, and adversity throughout life.

Flags from countless nations decorated the room, a fluttering canopy over the bustling crowd. If the steady stream of laughter and warm embraces were any indication, Wednesday night’s family history event was a booming success.

Pioneers are a cherished part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ history. Between 1847 and 1868, an estimated 60,000 to 70,000 stalwart pioneers traveled by wagon and handcart to Utah to find a place they could worship in peace.

More than just a charitable endeavor, this was a great opportunity to strengthen our bonds of sisterhood, forge new friendships, and make a world of difference.
